LORNOAR

The sensual LORNOAR is an heiress to Africa’s oral tradition: she shares and magnifies the musical culture of Cameroon and Central Africa.
As a singer, songwriter, and performer, she sings about timeless and contemporary themes such as love, comfort, faith, tolerance, child protection, and violence against women.
Whether alone with her guitar or backed by her band (trio, quintet, or larger), she gives herself fully—singing and dancing with passion, a boundless voice, and a captivating stage presence. She performs original songs in her native language Eton, as well as in French and English, in a vibrant blend of African and world rhythms: Bikutsi, Ekang, Assiko, Makossa, Bakanga, Mbalax, along with Bossa, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, and Soul.
With her experience, the success of her first two albums—“Lorenoare” and “100%”—and a talent appreciated across five continents, LORNOAR’s main ambition is to touch souls through her art and to share her Eton culture with the world.
